We cannot say enough kind words about how amazing Justine and the TGT team were in helping make our day special. Their level of professionalism was outmatched only by their warmth and kindness, and it was obvious from the get-go that we made the right choice. Justine kept us on track, helped us roll with the inevitable last minute adjustments, and we know she did way more behind the scenes so that we could focus on having fun at our wedding. If we ever have need of any event coordinator in the future, we won't even bother looking at anyone else. We cannot recommend TGT enough!

My husband and I are both extremely organized, so we initially had doubts about hiring a coordinator until our Brooklyn venue required at least a day-of coordinator under their contract. We thought we could possibly get by with asking another organized friend or family member, but ultimately we found that we needed a licensed person to do this job, and we were OVERJOYED to be 10,000% wrong about our initial thoughts. YES, you need a coordinator, and YES, it should be with TGT. There were so many moments the month of where we found ourselves muttering under our breaths, “Thank god for Justine... I’m so glad we have Justine...” We couldn’t shout any louder about how much value they added to our wedding and how wonderful they were to work with. Upon our first consultation, we were impressed by how thorough, comprehensive, and orderly Lauren was while explaining their process. They described their style as, “first one in, last one out,” and what truly cemented us wanting to hire them was their month-of “download meeting” approach — a passing of the torch which included in-depth planning documents, timeline coordination, contact sheets, decor visuals, and countless other resources. For our wedding, we worked with Justine as our lead coordinator and Jenna worked as additional help. Justine made sure we had the best experience imaginable. She is such a lovely, positive force who truly made the last month of planning easy and joyful. And Jenna was incredibly sweet and truly helped with a lot of the behind the scenes work for the day of. We also had the unique experience of being the first wedding clients at our venue, and we had pulled inspiration for serpentine reception tables that none of our vendors (namely our event manager, caterer, rental company, or TGT) had worked with before. However once we set up our download meeting, Justine and Jenna wasted no time asking questions we hadn’t even asked ourselves up until that point and making action items to figure out how to accomplish what we were envisioning. At the same time, we didn’t feel rushed or overwhelmed; they were so patient and generous with us by praising our vision, encouraging us to pursue every personable detail, and validating the wedding’s success. A week before our date, Justine told us, “We could throw this wedding tomorrow easily, and it would be beautiful.” Thank you so much to the TGT team! We highly, highly recommend working with them. They are the cream of the crop!

We had interviewed a couple of other wedding planners, but once we interviewed TGT, it was a no brainer that they were going to plan our wedding. Right from the get go, TGT's attitude, professionalism, and just overall vibe is infectious in all the right ways. Their attention to detail was unlike anything I had ever seen before, the amount of prep documents and checklists was so incredibly helpful and is really what kept us organized and on track in the midst of all the wedding planning chaos, and just the sheer sincerity and humor they brought to this oftentimes stressful process is really what kept us going. Justine and Katherine were our go to people, and not once did we feel unsupported. Justine was our logistics lead that helped us resolve every issue, dotted every i and crossed every T with the utmost precision, and relieved us of most of the stress of that final 6 week stretch. Katherine was our day of coordinator that not only wrangled our wedding party through the most chaotic of group chats, but executed our day so beautifully that everyone is still telling us almost 2 weeks later how perfectly everything went, and my husband and I couldn't agree more. Please please please hire TGT, you won't regret it.

We were totally blown away by The Get Together Events Co. from our very first intro call. We hung up confident that we were in good (fun!) hands. Justine was an absolute dream to work with. She was exactly what we needed: highly organized yet flexible, and a clear, enthusiastic communicator who managed to keep the energy up and keep us on track, all while not overwhelming us (still not sure how she did it!). Justine nudged us in the right direction, took stressful tasks off our plates, found the last-minute florist, showed up with emergency hairspray, and corralled family for photos… and did so seamlessly. Hiring TGT was truly the best decision that my husband and I made for our wedding day. Our venue required a month-of-coordinator (MOC), and I'm so happy that we found TGT because the month leading up to the wedding would have gone much different if we didn't have them on our team. We worked with Justine and Katherine, both of whom were delightful to work with from the very beginning. Justine kept us organized and on top of our to-do's during the weeks leading up to the wedding day while simultaneously ensuring that the complex logistics for our many vendors were taken care of. My bridesmaids were so impressed with her professionalism as well as how communicative she was throughout the entire wedding day. I can't recommend The Get Together highly enough! As a producer, I had high expectations for our wedding coordinator but I was blown away by the careful attention, professional organization, and thoughtful communication of Lauren and Katherine. As soon as they came on a month before the wedding, I kept saying that things felt eerily calm and anytime I thought of something to worry about Lauren had already taken care of it. I can't believe how much effort and time they put in. The day went off without a hitch (as far as I'm aware, which is exactly what you want to say!) and we loved the kind and enthusiastic energy Lauren and Katherine brought to our planning and wedding day. We truly could not have asked for a more professional, friendly, organized, fun, creative and helpful team of people to be our month of coordinator for our wedding! Lauren was so amazing to work with from day one, helping us to stay on track by providing a recommended wedding planning timeline along with vendor recommendations and tons of other helpful resources. Once we were a month out, Haleigh also came on board and was absolutely wonderful. Haleigh was on-site the day of our wedding and did such an incredible job of making sure that everything ran as smoothly as possible. When I tell you that I was so calm the day of my wedding, I truly mean it and it's all because of these ladies. Month of planning with TGT Events was by far the most worthwhile money spent for our wedding! Lauren and Rae are worth their weight in gold, and I can’t stress how grateful I am to have had them on our team. As a bride who had the majority of wedding planning on her shoulders, it was such a gift to have our TGT team come in a month out and take over for the home stretch. Lauren’s organizational skills were impeccable. She was my biggest advocate in the month leading up to the wedding! She heard all of my thoughts and requests and was able to make everything happen, all while maintaining her contagious positivity. Her expertise made every mountain into a molehill, and all the weight she took off my shoulders allowed me to start getting excited for the wedding day. I was so sick of emails towards the end of planning, but emailing Lauren was always a pleasure! Rae took charge of our entire day with such grace and efficiency; even wrangling our bridal party was a breeze with her help. Rae’s experience and knowledge of our wedding day were evident in the seamless flow of events on the day of, leaving us completely stress-free and able to enjoy every moment with our guests. Lauren and her team were a dream to work with as month-of planners. Leading up to our wedding, communication was always open, timely and honest. If you want a team of professionals to plan / run your event as diligently as they would their own, look no further. We picked TGT because our wedding venue required a coordinator. In hindsight, we would hire them 1000 times over, venue requirement or not. From beginning to end, Lauren and Rae worked hard to understand our vision and preferences, went to bat for us, looked after the little details, and shared their expertise. In short, they were ON IT. Aside from the stress they relieved, what was the best part of hiring The Get Together Events, you ask? Every single “when is-? what do I-? who has-? where are-? how should-?” question on our wedding day could be answered with “Rae has that covered.” Literally every question. Neither we nor our bridal party nor our family had to worry about anything outside of getting ready and being present. Are they worth the price? Definitely. Weddings get expensive, for sure, but the peace of mind they brought us was worth every penny. Thanks Lauren and Rae for a great experience!

We had a GREAT experience with TGT. We planned a lot of our wedding on our own by the 6-week-out mark when Justine (the GOAT) stepped in. she was able to review our ideas and use her event expertise to modify our plans, point out blind spots or things we didn't even think to consider, take over the reins, and ultimately bring together a seamless event. plus she was calm and positive, even in the face of our wackier ideas or items we still hadn't done at the last minute. she kept it fun and light but also underneath it all, really really organized with weekend homework assignments and centralized spreadsheets and word docs. we didn't stress about a thing the day of our wedding, all thanks to Justine. i really feel this was the best money spent in our whole wedding budget and would hire them again 100 times over.

Julie's project management of vendors, assigning helpful "weekend homework" , to coordinating with wedding parties and VIP's and helped us keep track of all the moving pieces leading up to the wedding.

We cannot recommend TGT enough!! Everything at our wedding went perfectly, all because of them. We used them for month-of coordination, and it was such a relief to hand off the planning right at crunch time. They thought of everything, including things we would have never considered. Julie made incredible documents that kept us organized and sent weekly to do emails to help prevent us from feeling overwhelmed while still keeping us on track. We wish we hired them to plan the whole wedding, it would have saved us a lot of stress and anxiety! Justine and Katherine were incredible day of, and made sure that we and our guests had everything taken care of and that everything was running according to schedule. Going into our wedding, we did not think we would benefit that much from having a coordinator. Our venue required that we hire a day-of / month-of coordinator and we selected The Get Together because they had worked at our venue multiple times before and their professionalism was evident from the get-go. We were incredibly pleased with our selection, and definitely appreciated having a coordinator leading up to and for the day of our wedding. While we selected them many months in advance, we officially kicked off with The Get Together about a month before the big day. They provided us several detailed shared documents that we could fill out, insert questions into and they could review and respond to. They were very responsive when we had questions, and were especially helpful in taking the reins in terms of leading communication with our other vendors (DJ, florals, venue / caterer, hair, makeup). On the day-of is when having a coordinator proved really worth it. Justine was across everything, from herding people around to pictures, to ensuring we had a couple of snacks throughout the day. She was in great spirits the whole time, and everything ran like clockwork as a result. We absolutely recommend The Get Together!

Besides the whole “getting married” part, hiring TGT was the single best decision we made throughout our wedding planning process. We reached out to The Get Together after realizing that our dream day we had planned had spun a bit off the rails, and probably required a bit of expert help to execute our vision. Immediately after connecting with Lauren and the TGT team, we felt a sigh of relief. We worked closely with them in the month leading up to our wedding to finalize all the last details — from the big stuff (“don’t forget the marriage license”) to the little details (“what are you having for breakfast?”). We’d like to think of ourselves as pretty organized people, but the attention to detail from the TGT team ensured that our day went exactly as we envisioned it without any hiccups. On the day of, our two incredible coordinators (Katherine and Jesi — we love you!!!!) flawlessly executed every moment of our day across three venues — a massive feat we never could have accomplished without them. To boot, their entire team is nothing but lovely. Their presence on our big day and the time leading up to it allowed us to really relish in what was the best day of our lives. If you’re reading this and even slightly considering hiring TGT — just do it. I promise you won’t regret it.

TGT is the best investment in your wedding – even more so than the venue or the details. If there is anything my wife and I would’ve reconsidered for our wedding, it would have been to work with Julie, Grace, and Lauren the second after I proposed. This team in one month, organized and remedied our year-long chaos, and we actually went into the wedding truly stress-free. On wedding day, the team’s preparation and experience really shone, and things that would’ve been an issue were rearranged and managed so flexibly that the whole day felt as perfect as we could’ve hoped for. I saw another review when we did our research that stated working with the TGT was like having “fairy godmothers”, and I couldn’t agree more. What they do is truly magic – with a smile.

We worked with Justine primarily for our wedding. Justine did an absolutely incredible job managing every aspect of the wedding and reporting it out to us, every step of the way, in a format that was concise and simultaneously all-encompassing. She and The Get Together Events Co. as a whole share a passion for wedding planning and management that is evident in the work they do and the way they do it. She was a blast to work with the entire time, which was impressive given the amount she was covering, especially the day of the wedding. My husband and I were hellbent on planning our wedding ourselves to save cost and decided to invest in a month-of coordinator to hand things over to as the wedding got closer and we couldn’t have possibly made a better decision than The Get Together Events. Specifically, Justine Salata was an absolute superstar in keeping everything organized, getting us whatever we needed and, most importantly, keeping things running smoothly on wedding day. We’ve been telling everyone this, but we could not have had as magical of a wedding as we did if it wasn’t for Justine and TGT. TGT month-of coordination was one of the most important decisions we made for our wedding. The primary virtual meeting we had with Lauren and Justine was thorough and addressed so many details we would have never thought of. This initial meeting helped us get organized and fine-tune the details of the weekend.

Justine was our main logistic lead (and the PERFECT coordinator), both in the lead up weeks and on the big day. Her positive energy made us feel so relaxed throughout the process so that we were able to enjoy our special day how we envisioned! I should start by saying my partner and I are extremely detail-oriented and were prepared to plan every detail of the wedding together, and in-spite of this, working with Kate and Lauren at The Get Together Events Co. have been 100% worth the investment, and honestly enhanced our experience leading up to the month of and were singularly responsible for helping us through the final hurdles and managing the day! I knew when I started wedding planning that I wanted a Month-of-Coordinator on our side! It was an extra expense for us, but one that I knew would take away some stress on the day of. Little did I know, that working with Justine and Lauren of TGT, would become the single best thing I did to set our wedding day up for success! Hiring TGT for our wedding was probably the best decision we made. Julie was one of the most organized, easily accessible, efficient and most importantly- kind and thoughtful person we could have worked with. She was able to come into the middle of all our planning, and somehow understand then execute with all of the moving pieces. We were quite anxious about the wedding prior to TGT coming on board and I can seriously say that having Julie take over completely relieved us of all of our nervousness (in the last month before the wedding no less!) Wow wow wow. Can't recommend The Get Together enough. Julie made it possible for us to feel so taken care of and stress free for our wedding weekend and the month before. She coordinated our welcome event and the wedding day. She's so organized and is the best communicator. She makes sure you think of everything in advance so you can have the most fun, and she works behind the scenes to ensure everything goes seamlessly. The day of she incredibly got us, our families and our niece and nephew through a rehearsal in ten minutes. She takes charge in the most unassuming, graceful and fun way! She'd always come to check in on us and our families to make sure we were good - she had scissors in her handy dandy toolkit to help me with my dress, she'd bring us water, food and drinks, she made everything look and flow amazingly. Honestly the best guest that we couldn't have lived without. Literally told her I love her at the wedding. Can't say enough incredible things! Also shout out to Liz, Julie's assistant for the wedding day, who popped in seamlessly and was so easy and fun to work with!

Julie & Lauren were beyond a doubt, two of the best decisions Hunter and I made for our wedding. So many of our family and friends continually commented about how relaxed we were in the lead up to the wedding and a huge reason for that was TGTE. Julie's project management of vendors, assigning helpful "weekend homework" , to coordinating with wedding parties and VIP's and helped us keep track of all the moving pieces leading up to the wedding. Lauren's incredible day of coordination of the wedding was beyond outstanding. She was always two steps ahead of any questions we had and kept everything in order so that we can fully enjoy the event. Everything was perfect and we couldn't have been more grateful for the support we received from this team. They're simply the best.

Having TGT as a month-of-coordinator was easily THE BEST decision we made for our wedding. If you had to prioritize one thing, it should be to have TGT on your side for the big day. There were so many little details and activities I had planned throughout the day and this team executed everything FLAWLESSLY. I didn’t have to worry about a single thing during the weekend, and I couldn’t be more thankful!

Justine was our logistics lead and when I tell you she is a superhero, I truly mean it. No question is too big or too small for her. She was the main contact for all of my vendors and also put together a schedule that had listed every little thing that was going on inside my brain. It was AMAZING. Whenever I had a question, I knew I could go to her and she would get it answered as soon as she could. Whenever I had a random thought or last minute idea I wanted to capture, she was already on it. She is truly so great and I wish everyone I ever worked with could be like Justine.

During the rehearsal and wedding day, our onsite manager was Kristen. If you ever have her as your onsite manager, just know that you are in THE BEST hands. I will admit that I was a bit nervous that some things would be lost during knowledge transfer, but Kristen DID NOT MISS A BEAT. Everything went so smoothly and according to plan. As a very meticulous planner, that’s all I could ever ask for. On top of that, she is also just the sweetest human alive! If you get to work with Kristen, you will absolutely love it! In addition to Kristen, we also had help from Julia throughout the day! She was so great to work with and was super helpful when anyone from our wedding party had small or random questions!

TGT truly gave me the dream team for my wedding and I am forever grateful. If you hire TGT for your wedding, I know you’ll also feel the same way!

There are no words to describe how thankful we are that we met Lauren and her team! We actually met Lauren and her then fiance at a tasting for our caterer. Little did we know that through the tasting, we found our month-of coordinator! After months of struggling trying to plan and coordinate ourselves, along with miscommunication with some parties, Lauren and Raegan swooped in and saved the day! They took all of the worries off our hands and literally made magic happen. From calls with vendors, endless Google Doc edits, and emergency texts with urgen thoughts and concerns, they helped us through it all! The Get Together Events team is amazing! Julie and Lauren were so helpful through all of the planning stages - with their speedy, professional email responses and amazing problem solving skills, we knew we were in great hands from the first day they came on board. Hiring The Get Together Events was hands down, without a doubt, THE BEST decision we made when wedding planning… Many folx recommended that we invest in a day-of coordinator, and we were intrigued by the extra support TGTE would offer in the 30-ish days leading up to our wedding. When we tell you that this decision paid off in spades, we really mean it. Keep reading to see how they worked their magic and helped us pull off a PERFECT day.

The first call: TGTE kept us on track starting the month before our wedding with our download meeting, and we instantly knew we were in good hands with the vivacious, supportive, friendly and enthusiastic Justine, Katherine, and Lauren. They displayed not only deep knowledge (answering our questions about venue timing, who to tip) but also supernatural intuition, jumping in with smart suggestions (like a non-cheesy way to honor our parents in our DIY ceremony). I can't spoil all the tips and tricks that they offered, but just know that you will be in excellent hands if you, like us, felt good going into your wedding vision but wanted a sounding board, and planning partner.

The lead up: All throughout the month, Justine was the person in the background emailling vendors, confirming details, and dolling out homework. You know you've found an amazing partner when, after the wedding, you actually miss the *ding* of your inbox telling you your coordinator has another task/question/follow up item. I have never looked forward to "homework" so much in my life, because working with TGTE felt fun and supportive all the way through. During our time working together, we created a seamless timeline and various documents that would keep our family, friends, vendors and selves informed of what to expect during the day.

THE BIG DAY: Katherine was our on sight support, and we had If you're a couple with relative confidence in meeting and she was everything you could want in an on site contact. She did everything from help set up our decor, track down missing items, fix a wobbly plant sign, whisk us away right after the ceremony so we could catch our breath and do a private happy dance, and be the point person for any questions from our VIPs and vendors. I'm not even close to listing all that she did and managed to pull off for us, but we will always remember every detail and be forever grateful.

BOTTOM LINE: If you are a couple with relative confidence in your ability to plan, make decisions, book vendors, and have a general idea for how you want your wedding to look, feel, and be remembered, you will still be served well by hiring TGTE and having caring, vibrant, superb thought partners and boots-on-the-ground support to help you take your vision across the finish line, and beyond your wildest expectations. The Get Together was far and away the best money we spent on our wedding; we know this for a fact because my now-wife and I could not stop saying it to each other throughout the entire stressful processes.

To say they are organized is an understatement. On our first call with Lauren and Justine, we started to describe the layout of our venue and before we even finished they said, “Oh don’t worry, we already did a site visit last week and are in contact with the manager.” That was just the first in a long, long line of them being a step ahead. Lauren planned everything to a tee, was in touch with all our vendors on our behalf, coordinated everything beautifully and genuinely asked how we were doing several times a week.

On the day of the wedding, Justine was simply flawless. First of all, her energy was sensational. Her excitement was contagious and made us feel giddy. One of our niece’s described her as ‘a human exclamation point’! She orchestrated our non-traditional venue’s ceremony brilliantly, got our rowdy bridal party through the rehearsal with humor and kindness, and came up with solutions to in-the-moment issues flawlessly and with a smile.

They anticipated needs before we even knew we had ones. They provided solutions we didn’t even know existed yet and happily pivoted when we had our own ideas/suggestions. It was like working with fairy godmothers. Planning a wedding is so beyond stressful (and we did a small one!), but do yourself a favor and hire TGT– you don’t even know how badly you need them. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

I can't say enough good things about Julie, Lauren, and team for helping us push through the final stretch of our wedding planning process. We had hired a full service wedding planner, who at the last moment had to bow out of helping us due to a family emergency. She connected us with TGT crew and I can not say enough good things about the process. From the download meeting though our wedding day Julie and team were so helpful for my many questions. The various spreadsheets and charts were essential at keeping me organized and helping me put the finishing touches on our wedding planning process. I could not recommend TGT highly enough. Everything about my experience with them completely exceeded expectations! As a TV producer, I am a very detail-oriented person who is well versed in producing live events. The TGT team totally spoke my language and over communicated about every aspect of the planning. To add on to the complications, our event was 100% DIY -- raw space, different vendors for every single element. TGT didn't miss a single detail. They work completely over Google Doc which was incredibly collaborative and provided for fantastic workflow. They responded to and addressed every single detail and question, absolutely nothing slipped through the cracks. TGT is perfect for couples who want a DIY process (ie don't need a planner), but want the guidance of industry insiders. BOOK THEM!

I can’t say enough good things about GTE, they were easily one of the best hirers we had for our wedding. Lauren and specifically Justine were an absolute dream team who immediately jumped in and got started coordinating with all of my vendors and actually working hard to already have questions answered before I or any of my vendors came up with them. Leading up to the wedding I felt extremely organized and extremely stress free. Justine was patient when decisions took me longer then they should and was prepared with every different wedding prep list you could need. Day of, our wedding was a dream and Justine handled every annoying variable that was planned and unplanned.

We met with several wedding day-of planners and we knew instantly with the energy, personality and professionalism that Julie and Lauren were the ones. Thank goodness we hired them! Julie and Lauren were amazing and detailed to every little aspect (that I would never have thought about). Their energy and attention to detail made the day perfect - I knew I would be stressed and thinking about everything leading up to the week of and not able to relax but Julie made sure that was not the case.

Just to name a FEW of the items they helped with - rain plan, making sure we ate the day of, helping coordinate all our vendor timelines (nightmare if you tried to do this yourself), pack list, detailed timeline to wedding party, wedding decor prep, ceremony flow, working with our officiant, providing multiple layouts, giving us weekly homework, etc. the list goes on and on. Out of all of our vendors - they are going to be the ones we will miss not speaking to every week! Hire them!

My husband and I hired TGT to help with month-of coordination for our wedding in TN and let me tell you…it was worth EVERY PENNY. Lauren and Kate went above and beyond to make our day magical and there is no way we could have done it without them! TGT took everything we had planned up until the last month and hit the ground running with all of our last-minute details. There were some things we forgot to book in our planning process and Lauren made sure that we had everything taken care of and helped us keep our sanity at the same time! Lauren kept everything so organized for us to really stay on track and she created our entire timeline for the day of that coordinated all of our vendors. It was absolutely perfect! Our day-of coordinator Kate swooped in and took over on our wedding day and she was a ROCKSTAR. My husband and I really wanted to have the last moment to ourselves at the end of the night to have a dance and soak in the day and Kate made sure that it was just me and him in the room at the end of the night and we have that memory forever now so we can’t thank her enough for helping us!! I could list sooo many other things that both Lauren and Kate did for us but the bottom line is .. If you are looking for an amazing team of coordinators who go out of their way to make sure you get the wedding of your dreams, then book them now!!!

Hiring Lauren and her company The Get Together Events Co. was EASILY the best money spent throughout the entire wedding planning process. As soon as Lauren and I started working together about a month before the wedding, I felt my shoulders lower and my neck relax... When they came on board the month before our wedding, we had a bunch of pieces that made a wedding (think venue booked, vendors hired, decor chosen) but no idea how things would actually happen on the day of! Sept 2022 Chicago bride here! I'm a former wedding planner and Virgo with (admittedly) high standards. Working with TGT for month-of coordination was the BEST vendor decision I made. I had a complicated, multi-faceted South Asian wedding with double ceremonies, many outfit changes, lots of different photo locations, and tough family members. Lauren worked wonders leading up to the wedding with clear, concise, respectful, and enthusiastic communications. Something I didn't realize - after you book most of your vendors (catering, venue, DJ, etc) most of them go pretty quiet until a month before the wedding, then EVERYONE needs EVERYTHING all at once, and has competing interests. I can not imagine trying to organize and negotiate through that without Lauren. Day of, Katherine and Allison were AMAZING. No task too tough, nothing I threw at them seemed stressful, and the day was perfect. They made the day happen, without a doubt. And I was able to truly enjoy myself. Lauren & Justine are out of this world incredible!! We worked with Lauren the month of for all behind the scenes wedding prep, pulling together all our vendors into 1 streamlined timeline, very impressive. It started with an initial handover call with Lauren & Justine which lasted 2 hours, about 5 weeks before our wedding date. The amount of detail they went into and the spreadsheets/documents they used to break everything down is beyond amazing.

We had many questions come up in those last 2 weeks, without TGT we would have been overwhelmed. Day of Justine was our coordinator, with Lauren on standby at the end of the phone. Justine had a Mary Poppins bag that literally had everything you could want or need on the day. My dress lost its buttons to pin the train up, Justine was there sowing me into my bustle, what a legend. Justine kept us on time throughout the day, it couldn’t have been more seamless.

All our guests could see how incredible and professional Justine was on the day and wanted to know how we found her!!

We truly can’t praise the Ladies of TGT enough. From our first meeting, the team was very enthusiastic about and committed to our special day and eager to offer expert advice, solutions, efficiency, and care. With all communication everyone was warm, fun, patient, and exciting to work with. They thought of everything, even things my Type A brain couldn’t fathom. To top it off, they coordinated and ran the most memorable day of our lives to perfection.

I truly can not say enough about how helpful Lauren and her whole team at the Get Together Events was. I don't think I could've survived wedding planning without all of the great tools that were provided to us. Still freaking out about how amazing our wedding was a few weeks back. Before TGT came on board we were stressed and juggling more than we could handle. Where to even begin!! Working with Julie, Grace, and Lauren was honestly the best decision we made when it came to planning our wedding. If you're wondering whether it's worth hiring them for the month-of logistics, just do yourself a favor and book them. Things were starting to feel crazy right around that 1-month mark, and as soon as we had our meeting with them, they immediately made us feel relieved and excited. They helped us nail down every single detail —including several things we hadn't thought of yet — and made sure we were feeling calm and collected each week leading up to the big day. They are extremely organized and incredibly kind. I felt confident leaving my vendor/setup logistics to Julie and we felt truly pampered and cared for by Grace onsite on our wedding day. Several guests and family members remarked on how kind and attentive she was. She rolled with the punches and made sure my dad could execute some (questionable) surprises and made sure we were all having fun 100% of the time. There are no words to describe how helpful Lauren and the TGT team were to us on our wedding day and the month leading up to it. I had heard so many stories of how stressed and overwhelmed brides tend to be on their wedding day and that was not my experience at all thanks to Lauren. WOW. The Get Together Events Co. team is amazing. Their process is seamless, convenient and efficient. Each couple receives a Logistics Manager (pre-wedding lead) and an Event Manager (day-of lead). Together, these two make sure every detail of your wedding runs smoothly. I would hire them again and again. The process begins with a Download Meeting 30 days out. This is a two hour video call where you get to explain everything about your wedding, and hand it over to their team to take it over the finish line. They review all of your docs and provide invaluable feedback that take your wedding day from good to GREAT. Below are a couple of stand out examples. I could go on and on about how absolutely wonderful Lauren, Tori and the whole crew were during our wedding. Examples: (1) My floor plan for the reception was not utilizing the space and florals in the best way. Lauren drafted a new plan that flowed a lot better and we were able to better utilize all the rentals I'd ordered. (2) I didn't think to add mini arrangements on the cocktail hour tables, or offer seated tables for our older guests. Lauren suggested adding bud vases and a couple of cafe tables, and both were a huge hit and pulled the space together. (3) At the end of the night, there were a lot more boxes/items to go back to our house than intended due to a family miscommunication. Tori ensured everything was handled, told my MOH, and I was none the wiser, galavanting off to my reception exit. Their attention to detail, quick responses and solutions, jovial demeanor and all-around loveliness made my wedding the absolute best. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

TGT Events Co was hands down our best wedding investment. Lauren and Justine took away all of the stress of our day and handled every issue that came up with grace, humor and kindness. We were so grateful for their expertise and attention to detail. You will not find anyone better to work with than Lauren and Justine, hands down.

One example of their heroics was when our linen vendor told us 4 days ahead of our wedding that the linens we picked were no longer available. I was on an international flight and had only a few hours (and questionable wifi) to decide or else our linens wouldn't make it in time. Justine and Lauren went right into solutioning mode and had the vendor send us several options/pictures/videos in natural light and handled all of the communications. They truly gave me confidence that everything would come together no matter what. Honestly, I could go on for many more paragraphs about how great they are.

On our day Justine was a godsend. She worked tirelessly to make sure that my vision became reality, all while staying upbeat, positive and calm. We loved working with her and I'm just sad that we don't get to be on email or text threads anymore!

We cannot thank or recommend TGT enough for all of the hard work they put into our wedding, from our first introductory call, through the planning process, and into the wee hours of the event itself (and even first thing the next morning!). We had guests from all over the map—all of our parents plus countless friends—specifically call out how spectacular Grace was throughout the event and we couldn't agree more. We got through photo-taking ahead of schedule (!), felt very prepared for the (long, logistically complicated) ceremony, loved the ceremony music cueing and cocktails waiting for us afterward, and were blown away by how smoothly every single piece of the reception clicked into place. We especially appreciated Grace's ability to lead with so much tact. We've been privy to some not-so-nice-to-be-around planners at other weddings, and this was the polar opposite of that. The entire day felt effortless, smooth, easy, and fun, which we're sure was because of a massive (yet somehow invisible) amount of finagling behind the scenes—and all of the planning that led up to the big day, of course! It also must be said that Julie, the logistics lead, is truly a mastermind. The flow of events made perfect sense and allowed us to fit so many meaningful details, people, and activities into the limited time we had. We had a firm grasp on the entire schedule of events, and got far fewer questions from friends and family thanks to her expertly crafted memos. Hire TGT! You won't regret it!

Hiring TGT was the easiest and best decision for our wedding day. They were recommended by a coworker, by our venue, by our other vendors, and we knew from the very first call that we needed to work with them. We could not have survived the month of our wedding without them. Then Justine and Julie came on board and made everything seem so easy. Julie is truly one of the most detailed-oriented and wonderful people to work with. She broke out our to-dos into weekly tasks that made everything feel achievable and not overwhelming. She also thought of EVERYTHING, and was working with us right up to the last minute as seating charts and other details changed. And Justine made us feel so calm and comfortable the day of. We were truly able to enjoy the day thanks to her. She made everything seamless, and literally saved the day with her bag of tricks when I realized that the train of my dress was covered in dirt. Justine made our wedding so easy. When she took over 30 days out, all of our stress went away and we could focus on the little details that were exciting and joyful to us. All the tedious work was completely taken care of, to the point that we don't even know the extent of what she had to deal with (but we know it was a lot!). During the event, Justine managed the temperature in the rooms (for our particularly hot August wedding day), dealt with unruly relatives, and quickly made adjustments to the schedule for the smoothest outcome. She also made sure to check in and consult with us. Anytime we needed her she magically appeared! She also used her years of experience to advise on how to make the day the most special. We have been raving about her to everyone who will listen. Many guests came up to us to mention to us how seamlessly everything was running, all thanks to Justine!

We loved working with Julie, Devon, Lauren and the rest of the TGT team! We hired them for month-of coordination of our medium-sized spring wedding in Brooklyn – Julie was our main point of contact throughout the final month leading up to the wedding, and Devon was our day-of person making sure everything was running smoothly and on time. TGT made all our wedding dreams come true – they ensured we got to fully enjoy the day, and not get stressed and bogged down over the many logistics and details that need handling during wedding planning.

We had a longer engagement, so by the time we had gotten to a month out, we were suffering from decision fatigue and had lost track of some of the last couple “miscellaneous” tasks that needed to be finished. Julie was so incredibly organized, delivering weekly to-do lists with helpful instructions on how to accomplish each task. She also handled virtually all of our vendor coordination, delivering (as if by magic) an incredibly detailed timeline specifying where/when everybody (vendors, wedding party, family, etc) needed to be. Julie also handled coming up with the floor plan – which was slightly complicated due to the electrical needs of a photo booth and ice cream cart that would be showing up in the evening, and she seamlessly accommodated my desire to try and avoid placing key moments in front of a mural I was not particularly fond of at our venue.

Devon was our day-of queen! She was in constant communication with us throughout the day, making sure we were on-schedule and where we needed to be. Devon helped to make sure the venue was being set-up the way we wanted (transporting a bunch of decor/signage/stationary from our getting-ready location to the venue and working with the venue staff to ensure everything was set-out properly), and she stayed until the end of the night to make sure all of our stuff got cleaned up and sent back home with us. We didn’t have to lift a finger to ensure that the venue was decorated and then cleaned at the end of the night!

Hiring a month-of coordinator was a late decision for us, but hiring TGT to coordinate for us was one of the *best* decisions we made – our wedding day was perfect and the TGT team ensured that we got to enjoy every minute of it! Throughout our engagement, the month leading up to the wedding was actually the least stressful thanks to the help of TGT!

Let me paint the picture that I am a type-A lunatic who has been dreaming of my wedding since I was 5 years old, and our wedding turned out to be better than anything I could have imagined… To say we loved working with Lauren and Justine would be a complete understatement. Starting with Lauren, she was the calm within the storm, taking things off my plate and handling them to help keep me from losing my mind the month of the wedding… Justine was our day of coordinator who I swear has some sort of magical aura to keep everything peaceful and fun in the midst of wedding day chaos… She handled my fussy grandma, made sure everyone was in place and on queue for our ceremony, and got all our items back to our hotel room at the end of the night -- all things that had highly stressed me out until TGT came into the picture! Hiring TGT was the best money we've ever spent - Julie and Lauren's support and advice were worth every penny. Their organization, thoughtful attention to detail, active listening and generous enthusiasm allowed us to truly feel like guests at our own wedding. I can't stop telling family and friends how relaxed I felt on the day -- we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly, and that's a testament to Julie and Lauren's work. For every request and idea we had, they responded with an enthusiastic YES and a quick solution for how to make it happen. I wanted to make sure that our flowers didn't go to waste at the end of the night, so I bought paper and ribbon and asked Julie to invite guests to take whatever they wanted. Instead, Julie made up gorgeous bouquets herself, all wrapped and ready to go, to hand out to our guests after the last song. Such a classy touch. We absolutely LOVED having Lauren & Justine with us in the last hectic month of planning and celebrating. They asked us all the nitty gritty questions while also expertly handling all the logistics so we didn’t have to think about anything on the day of. Lauren’s timeline helped us so much in visualizing the weeks leading up to the wedding and her weekend “homework” was perfect! I cannot recommend the team from The Get Together enough for month-of planning services. While we had initially booked them for our 2021 wedding, and when we asked to push to a 2022 reception instead, they were very flexible. Then for our 2022 event, I don't know what we would've done without them. We had tons of moving parts, particularly around COVID protocols for our event in late January 2022, but they took care of everything with the vendors and served as an incredible resource and sounding board for us when we had questions about COVID (thanks to their diligence, we had no cases from the wedding!), seating charts, and anything else. Through constant emails, spreadsheet updates, and texts, we always knew what was happening, but weren't overwhelmed by it since we didn't have to be in the thick of it. They were increeeedibly responsive, but more importantly, were a fantastic, positive presence during a stressful time. I'm particularly grateful for them the week of our wedding, when a snowstorm hit and they stepped in to juggle switched out band members and other snow-induced issues. No exaggeration, they were 100% the best money we spent for our wedding! Thank you Lauren, Lauren, Katherine and team for everything!

Book TGT Events now!!! They came on board a month before our day and blew our expectations out of the water. They took an active and proactive role from day one, sending us weekly to do lists, coordinating directly with all of our vendors, and making sure we thought of things we hadn't thought of. Grace was so amazing to have nearby on the day of the wedding. When I wanted to push the timeline back a bit, Grace was completely flexible and alerted the necessary parties immediately. We loved working with Julie and Lauren! Our wedding celebration weekend felt so seamless and smooth which is mainly due to how detail-oriented Julie was. She made sure to review all the logistics with us beforehand so we could be present and truly enjoy our event. Her energy was so positive. Our original wedding was postponed due to the pandemic. In fact, our wedding was the week everything shut down. Leading up to that week, the uncertainty of events made things very stressful. When Tamar first told me that she and Brian were hiring a “day of the event wedding planner” I was somewhat skeptical as I wasn’t quite sure why one would be necessary. Lo and behold as the much anticipated day arrived and circumstances descended upon us what quickly became clear was that what you folks do was not merely necessary but quite frankly indispensable. As Justine worked her magic in seamlessly addressing every little question concern or issue, all without fanfare or drama, I was struck by how her calm presence and endless attention to the many details of the day enabled Tamar and Brian (not to mention their four somewhat nervous parents) to more fully enjoy their very special day.

I cannot rave about The Get Together Events enough! They were the MVPs of our wedding. Lauren, Julie, and the team were able to make what would have been a very stressful month before our wedding much easier. They took over finalizing everything with our vendors, helped us make a customized schedule for our wedding day, and kept in contact with our wedding party. We asked that our guests submit negative covid tests on the day of the wedding, and Lauren was able to create a custom link for everyone to upload their results to. She seamlessly monitored everyone's responses on the day so that we didn't have to worry! In the week leading up to our wedding, a number of our guests informed us that they would no longer be able to attend, and despite the fact that I was still re-organizing table arrangements at 7 am the morning of our wedding, I knew we were in good hands. The beginning of the ceremony was a bit chaotic - our officiants began their processional before our guests were aware the wedding was starting- but other than that everything was beautiful and everyone ended up in their correct (and sometimes new!) seat for dinner! I really do not know what we would have done without them! Thank you thank you!

I cannot even begin to describe the weight that was off of our shoulders from our first call one month before the wedding up until our wedding day working with Lauren Schaefer and her team! We are two fairly type A people, and our normal behavior is typically pretty stressed/anxious/neurotic. But the staff at The Get Together just completely understood us and our preferences and we felt beyond comfortable in their capable hands from day one. Working with them made the lead up to the wedding actually FUN and really not stressful at all. Everything was totally under control and we were just purely excited. So many people had told us that their weddings were such a blur, they didn’t eat, they couldn’t talk to the people they wanted to talk to, because there was just so much going on. So happy to report that we cannot say the same. Everything was executed perfectly, all vendor communication was taken care of seamlessly, and they were a joy to work with. We were able to soak up every minute of the party and really had the time of our lives. Could not more highly rate this company if possible, and plan to recommend them to every couple we know!

We cannot stop saying this, but Lauren was by far our BEST investment for ensuring our wedding day went as seamless as possible. We are SHOCKED that her services are so affordable. As a type A person, I was worried about bringing someone into the fold of my wedding planning. Enter Lauren and Justine. Even though I thought I had it all together, I literally would have never survived a COVID rescheduling and the last month of wedding planning without them. From my first conversation with Lauren I knew she was the one to help us coordinate our wedding. I consulted at least 11 different month-of coordinators in the course of a week and Lauren was the ONLY one who asked about us first! Hiring Lauren as our wedding coordinator was the easiest and BEST decision that we made throughout the planning process… To give you an idea, there are memos upon memos, and numerous spreadsheets, none of which you have to write but get all the benefits from! Seriously, I'm very type A and have a hard time letting go of things but I trusted Lauren 100% to execute my wedding like it was her own, which is exactly what she did. She is thoughtful, insanely detail-oriented, asks every question that you would never even think about yourself, and on top of it all, is the coolest and most fun person to be around! In the early spring of 2020, Lauren reached out to see what we were thinking about our fall 2020 wedding. It was too early to postpone things, but Lauren acted as a sounding board and shared her industry perspective. When it came time to postpone our wedding, we hired Lauren’s new Covid Coordinator Vendor Postponement services. Within a week, Lauren had reached out to all of our vendors to get their availability and postponement policies, and formed a list of every possible Saturday date in 2021 when our vendors were available. Lauren patiently listened to our concerns and offered advice as we evaluated the new dates, and when none were quite right, she went back to all our vendors for their Friday 2021 availability. Once we chose a 2021 date, Lauren coordinated getting all of the vendor contracts updated with the new date…Next: Micro Wedding Coordination. We still planned to do a small ceremony on our original 2020 date, and we hired Lauren to coordinate it. With Covid guidelines and restrictions constantly changing in NY, Lauren advised us: keep it simple. She helped us with the pros and cons of the 2 different family backyards and… reached out to caterers and rental companies in the NJ area to inquire about their availability. (Out of Lauren’s control), a month before the wedding was scheduled… we decided that hosting in our parents backyard was not going to work… We ended up choosing a small outdoor venue in Brooklyn, except their availability was very limited, and we had to go with a date that was just TWO WEEKS away. Queue Lauren’s magic. Lauren coordinated with the florist and photographer to make sure they were still available on the new date, coordinated all the details with the venue - Lauren’s past experience and relationship with the venue were a huge help... The venue’s recommended tent company was sold out of tents, which we needed as a backup for rain, so Lauren took on the challenge and contacted pretty much every tent company in the tri-state area… Fast forward to the day of - we also hired Lauren’s awesome event manager Julie to be with us. Julie was calm and attentive, made sure everything (and everyone) was in the right place at the right time. We dealt with some high winds and low temps, and Julie took it all with a stride, making sure we were always warm enough and working with the venue to make sure the spot could still be perfect!

We had the profound pleasure of working with Lauren and Julie for month of/day of wedding coordination. Our original wedding date was 9/19/2020, which we postponed to 6/18/2021 due to COVID… They were always available for questions (even before their services technically kicked in) and are always so quick to respond. They also offered and provided an additional service (for the literal tiniest fee- we’d have paid triple for it) and completely rescheduled every single vendor and the venue for us when we had to postpone. Thanks to them, we were able to keep every vendor we had already booked… Then they got all of the updated contracts for us. We barely had to do a thing, which was SO incredibly helpful in a time when I was pretty emotionally exhausted from having to postpone our wedding. Not only were they just helpful, they were the most fun, encouraging, professional, hardworking and organized team. They genuinely want to know you. They want to hear your concerns and put your mind at ease… Most importantly, they genuinely cared about us as individuals and a couple and also about exactly what we wanted our wedding to be. They are on your side 100% and you feel that intrinsically. I honestly don’t know how many other weddings they were working on at the same time as ours and that is because they make you feel like you are their only clients. The day they officially took over and we had our “download” meeting, about 6 weeks out from our wedding day, my stress/anxiety practically melted away because I knew this team would not let anything slip by them… There is no way to detail every service you will receive from them in this review, but we will always credit Julie and Lauren for being a HUGE part of why our wedding day was exactly what we wanted it to be. We were able to sit back and enjoy our day because they had literally every single minute detail covered. You NEED this team! I was one of the people that didn't think I needed a month of coordinator and only was hiring one because my venue required it. WOW WAS I WRONG. I know our celebration wouldn't have happened as flawlessly as it did (or even at all haha) if it wasn't for Lauren and Julie. They are truly incredible. They gave us tips and recommendations on things we never even thought to look into, they helped when certain vendors started to become difficult and they kept us in the loop the whole time (without us having to do the legwork, haha!). They even ensured that the wedding party and family were on time for the day-of so we didn't have to text/remind anyone.

The Get Together Events Co. was the best decision we made for our wedding day! I was fortunate enough to be able to work with Lauren herself the month prior to our big day- nailing down details, meeting with vendors, checking things off my list, coordinating the day-of schedule, etc. Every interaction, communication methods, working docs she created for organization and planning, etc. helped put my mind at ease, since we were a COVID postponed and re-scheduled 2020 wedding. The actual day-of was amazing. Lauren and TGT Events came through for us in a big way when COVID affected our wedding plans. She took our original plans and flawlessly coordinated a new event. TGT was the best money spent by far for my wedding! Lauren and Liz were an absolute DREAM to work with. It was such a relief once they were involved because they handled everything! Having The Get Together Events Co. as our month-of coordinator was the best decision we made for our wedding. Lauren was our main point of contact throughout the planning phase, and Sam was on site day-of (and for the rehearsal the day before!).

When we got engaged, we didn't really understand why people would use month-of planning services, but after working with Lauren and Sam we realized how much help they were, and how many things would have slipped through the cracks if not for their hard work. They helped us keep track of all the important details, even the tiny ones (location of small decor items, Photo Booth back drop selection, etc) to ensure that everything went the way we wanted on the wedding day. They also helped clarify the legal requirements for us to get a marriage license, as neither of us lived in the city where the wedding took place. There is plenty of month-out vendor coordination that you don't think about when you begin planning a wedding, and thanks to Lauren we never had to think about it because she handled it all for us.

In addition to making sure we didn't forget anything we planned on having, they also helped us navigate a few unforeseen last minute issues. We had a significant change in our guest count less than a month out, and Lauren worked with our caterer and rentals provider to accommodate this and even helped us rearrange our floorplan on short notice. She also saw we were missing a vendor for running the audio at our event, so TGT provided us with an emcee, Andy, for our reception at a very reasonable additional fee for such a last minute addition.

Our wedding day itself ran smoothly and without any hiccups, and we would attribute almost all of that to having TGT as our month-of coordinators. Sam was there before we arrived and after we left, busy as a bee, but we hardly even noticed. We were able to enjoy the full wedding experience that we'd crafted while she kept everything on schedule and just like we wanted.

Not only were Lauren and Kate my support system leading up to my wedding, but they literally made my day happen. With a complete venue change 5 hours prior to my ceremony starting, they took every stressor off my shoulders and executed my vision better than I could have ever imagined! Ok I will start by saying that my wedding was almost a year ago (July 2019) and I am unfortunately just getting to a review for these AMAZING ladies. Lauren (and Kate & Summer) were A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! I'd say that I'm a pretty organized and detail orientated person when it comes to most things, but Lauren put me to shame. She had lists upon lists to help keep everything organized and make the month and day of room so smoothly. Things that I didn't even think about, Lauren made sure I had a plan for and was so helpful with ideas and suggestions to make things happen exactly the way I wanted. I can't even remember how many times I changed my seating chart, rental order, guest list numbers and Lauren (and her team) just ran with whatever I gave them. They made things HAPPEN! When I first was discussing my budgetary constraints with Lauren in regards to hiring a month of coordinator, she was willing to work with me. She truly cares about her clients and will go above and beyond for them. I wasn't excepting to have my coordinator at my rehearsal, but Lauren made sure she was there to help things run smoothly even then! Her and Kate were ON IT during my wedding day too! They were so good, I didn't even have to ask for anything to be done because they were already doing it. Also, when my bridal party needed to be whipped into shape for the photographer or needed to pay close attention to something, she gave them a kind but stern helping hand and made sure that I didn't have to be the "bad guy".

She has a gift for planning and so I would highly recommend her to any bride that needs a little bit of help with her wedding. Lauren is the best thing that happened to our wedding! She came recommended to us by the Columbia School of Journalism (serendipitously this is where my husband works). We had been looking for a month-of coordinator, and every single person at Columbia highly recommended Lauren as she had just moved from being their event planner to being a wedding coordinator in Nashville! Hiring Lauren as my month of coordinator and Justine as my day of coordinator was the greatest thing I did for my wedding planning!!

I knew I needed help as my venue has you bring in all outside vendors. I found Lauren and co. about 10 months before my wedding. I hopped on a call with Lauren and Justine and in minutes they made me feel comfortable, heard, and put my stress at ease… Because of their expertise, they were able to provide recommendations for transportation, set up, floor plans, etc. which helped immensely; I've never planned a wedding before!!

Lauren sent us weekly emails with homework of outstanding items and offered a bunch of suggestions for set up. She provided a pack list, a floor plan, and handled ALL communication with vendors and the venue… I cannot recommend enough!!

It was an absolute pleasure working with the team at Your Wedding by Lauren! We could not have pulled off our big night without Lauren & Julie’s help.

Prior to working with YWbL, we were in a good spot in terms of managing the massive project that is wedding planning and piecing everything together. Wow! What else can we say about The Get Together Events. My husband and I thought we wanted a day of planner and when we chose our venue, they required we have one. We stumbled upon TGTE month of planning and reached out to Lauren. It seemed like a perfect match. At the time, we thought it would be helpful, but truly had no clue exactly what they would do as we felt like we were working our butte off planning our wedding. Well, we quickly realized how wrong we were!!! We are SO THANKFUL we had Lauren S and Lauren R to plan and execute our wedding month. My husband and I had a very DIY wedding in Brooklyn in the spring of 2019. We tried to cut corners wherever possible but after talking to a MALE coworker about his NY wedding and hearing him rave multiple times about [TGT] - I thought I should at least check this out...

Hiring Lauren was THE best decision we made when it came to planning our wedding. She made the month leading up to our wedding SO seamless and easy -- whether it was coordinating with all of our vendors, putting together an extremely helpful, cohesive timeline or just generally shielding us from all of the last-minute questions / details that come up when you're planning a wedding. Lauren was the absolute best planner we could have asked for!!! Our wedding was 4 hours from where we lived and a travel for her as well, which added to the stress and when she took over, all the stress disappeared! Prior to her “officially” taking over the planning, she still was there to answer any questions we had. We do not even know where to begin with expressing our praise towards Lauren. Our family members are still raving to us about her. Lauren made our day worry free and absolutely perfect. She was quick to respond to emails and texts. She truly made us feel like we were her number one priority, not only day of, but during the whole process. Lauren ensured all our vendors were squared away which to our knowledge, made for a seamless day. Not one small detail was overlooked, she literally thought of EVERYTHING. Not only is she super organized and professional, Lauren is the sweetest to work with. Again, our moms remind us how great it was working with her every time the wedding is brought up. Our perfect, magical wedding would not have been so flawless if it wasn’t for Lauren!

Hiring [The Get Together Events Co.] and working with Lauren, generally speaking was the best decision we made in our wedding planning process. Lauren worked as an advocate for us during the month leading up to the wedding, allowing us to check out on the minutiae, all the while knowing that the details were being expertly handled. She was an ear for our concerns and offered expert advice when we required guidance while being a beacon of positivity and a joy to be around. The day of the wedding, we were able to sit back and enjoy knowing that our day-of coordinator, Sam (who was spectacular) had our timeline and the logistics under control. Without [TGT] and Sam, undoubtedly our family members would have been left to communicate with vendors, execute room flips, etc. while they should have been relaxing and enjoying the celebration. Hands down would (and do) recommend to anyone and everyone with a wedding on the horizon.

We had a mostly D.I.Y. wedding and we were definitely feeling overwhelmed going into the month of, but Lauren could not have been more helpful, organized and present. On the day of the wedding, Lauren's assistant was with us the whole time and was ready to help with any unforeseen issues that came up (the kind of issues that happen at ANY wedding, from helping me with my shoe buckle to overseeing the events of the day and making sure we were there to have fun and leave the "work" to her). I. AM. DEAD. Our wedding was so immaculately planned and executed so smoothly thanks to Lauren and Justine. There were ZERO issues perceived by anyone (weather aside) and Lauren and Justine have truly thought of every single detail and scenario you could possibly run into during a wedding. They make the planning process so easy, and guide you through last minute decisions you never even thought of (like what are you feeding everyone while getting ready?) to make sure you’re as completely prepared as they are. Where to start?! I suppose you made the right choice in coordinator when everyone that was in the bridal party keeps complimenting Lauren and her schedules and lists! I can't begin to say how important [TGT] (and Lauren herself) were to my wedding. As an event planner of sorts, I understand that when you are working with at least a half dozen vendors, that requires a lot of planning and keeping people on track. I did NOT want to have to juggle that and getting ready for my wedding, so I began looking around. It didn't take me long to remember that my fellow IU grad, Lauren, had this awesome business that sounded right up my alley! Her month-of services were the perfect middle ground between full on planner and day of coordinator. It was SUCH a relief when I handed over contracts AND communication to Lauren. Her attention to detail and weekly emails with tasks kept us on track, but not overwhelmed. I'm a very controlling, Type A planner, but it didn't take long for me to become totally comfortable with Lauren handling the preparations. Not only is Lauren the consummate professional, she also genuinely cares about her clients and their weddings. I can't say enough good things about Lauren and all the things she did for our wedding. And to top it all off, she travels and is very reasonably priced! This was a line item for the wedding that I wasn't willing to part with and thanks to her pricing, I didn't have to! Okay where do I start. I worked with Lauren and Justine on my July wedding at 501 Union and they were INCREDIBLE. Seriously - logistics pros, super organized, super fun, problem solvers, wedding therapists - They. Are. EVERYTHING! Book them right now. You might not think you need a coordinator to run the show, but trust me when I say, having someone help work with your vendors (especially when you suddenly decide you need a hanging floral installation TEN DAYS before your wedding!) will save your life, your sanity, and your marriage (probably). I thought I was super organized about my wedding before I met them, but I can't even compare to them - they seriously pulled the whole thing together. Even solved day of issues (like when my florist delivered a small bouquet instead of a floral collar for my dog - Justine crafted him a collar out of loose flowers and ribbon!) and made the day flow easily and smoothly. Seriously, book them. Right now.

My husband and I have said over and over that the best decision we made in our wedding planning process was to hire [TGT]. Lauren considered every single little detail you could possibly think of and took everything off our plates for the month leading up to the wedding. Her timelines were super helpful and allowed us to stay productive without getting overwhelmed. She was so positive and sweet which allowed us to be relaxed and excited for our big day. To say that Lauren and Justine were our wedding planner and day-of coordinator would be a vast understatement! They were such fun people to work with during our wedding planning season, and were our biggest cheerleaders, friends, and support. Lauren is incredibly organized, energetic, and great at communication. She was able to coordinate the entire day schedule to minute detail; she also checked in with us almost every day with updates, manageable to-do lists, and just to see how we were feeling. When our wedding day arrived, Justine took over and my husband and I were able to fully enjoy and celebrate the special day with zero worries! She coordinated with the vendors seamlessly from beginning to end. Justine was also such a cheery and encouraging presence around our bridal party, parents, and ring bearer. My husband was very grateful that she guided him through his bow tie meltdown (not easy to tie!) :). Through the night she made sure we stayed hydrated and fed, and even took a bunch of extra photos and videos for us. We honestly could not recommend [TGT] enough – they are not only great professionals but great people as well!

By far the best decision I made when planning my wedding was adding Lauren to our day. She went above and beyond and put us at ease every step of the way. [The Get Together Events Co.] was without question the best investment we made for our wedding! My husband and I were very hesitant about booking coordinators as we thought we would be able to manage on our own. We were so wrong! From the very beginning, Lauren and Michelle were incredibly organized, flexible, creative, and understanding. They were extremely professional in a way that allowed us all to laugh and enjoy the process instead of getting caught up in the stress! Michelle was our day of coordinator, but even though she wasn’t there, Lauren was involved every step of the way. From encouraging words to reminders that we needed to enjoy our time with family and friends because this is a once in a lifetime experience. From first thing in the morning until we left the wedding, Michelle could not have been more helpful! Lauren, Justine, and her team were the superglue and building blocks to our wedding. Our wedding was in Brooklyn, at a beautiful venue where I had to provide my own caterer, florist, DJ, and everything. I had so much envisioned for my wedding and wanted many things to be DIY, but I had no idea it was going to be so tough to organize everything. From the second I met Lauren through google hangout, I knew she was going to be able to turn my dreams into reality. She is organized and thorough, while still able to give you space to think and dream - though she won't let you fall behind. She kept me on track throughout the month prior to the wedding, and made sure the hundreds of pieces came together as one. She responds immediately to your needs and comes up with questions you didn't even realize needed to be answered (but would have surely been a stressor had they not been!). On the day of the wedding, Justine took out small fires for me - and even calmed me down and fixed everything when one of the vendors had thrown me a curve ball (bridesmaid hairstylist mis-hap). With Lauren and her team, I felt at ease throughout my wedding and actually enjoyed the entire day. I’m incredibly organized and went into planning my wedding thinking there was no way I needed a coordinator… Wrong! Hiring [TGT] single-handedly saved me from becoming a total bridezilla and stressing out on my day rather than having a great time. From start to finish, Lauren and Justine were always a step ahead. They asked me questions that I would have NEVER thought regarding details, timing, preferences, you name it! They are truly wedding experts and will give you their honest opinions based on real life experience on how things can best flow and go together seamlessly. As an event planner myself, I didn't feel right hiring a full-on wedding planner to work with me throughout the entire planning process. That said, I definitely wanted someone capable who could run the show leading up to the wedding and day of. I started working with Lauren about a month out, and I thank my lucky stars I did. She took over all vendor relationships, managed all logistics with everyone from my family and wedding party to every single vendor. She wrote pack lists, logistic memos, a schedule (down to nearly the minute.... no, seriously), and more then distributed them to every single relevant person -- and I didn't have to think about any of it! I felt so at ease working with Lauren. Her work style is clear, efficient, and incredibly thorough. She made me feel calm, confident, and excited about the crazy day. She managed a large group of insane people (my closest friends and family, haha) with poise, competence, and a great attitude. I am beyond grateful for her and would recommend her to ANYONE. Honestly, the budget that went towards hiring her was by far the most valuable line item in the entire spreadsheet. I would hire her again a million times over.

Booking [TGT] was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! We got married at The Green Building (Brooklyn) in April 2019. We used Lauren as our month-of coordinator and Julie was our day-of contact and coordinator. We have nothing but awesome things to say about both of them. They were both extremely organized, detail-oriented, and professional. It was a big bonus that they were both familiar with our venue and had done many other weddings there. Lauren and Julie got involved ~6 weeks out from the wedding, right at crunch time when everything was getting extra crazy. At this time, they also became the official points of contact for our vendors so we only had to communicate with them and they would coordinate with everyone else. They were both very timely in answering emails. On the day-of, Julie was present at our venue starting at 9AM, supervising load-in and set-up and also constantly communicating with the maid of honor/best man to make sure the bridal party was on schedule and didn’t need anything. She was there for every step of the day - she distributed our vendor tips, rescued one of the bridesmaids from a mysterious stain on her dress, helped steam my (the bride!) dress when it got some last minute wrinkles, and checked in with me and the groom periodically once the festivities officially began, letting us know where we were in the schedule. In the days leading up to our big day, we constantly found ourselves saying how grateful we were for Lauren and Julie and all of their planning. They are very good at their jobs and were truly a pleasure to work with. Having them onboard allowed us to fully enjoy every minute of our wedding without having to stress the small things. If you’re on the fence about hiring a day-of/month-of coordinator, you NEED to and you NEED to hire Lauren. We highly recommend [TGT]!

My then-fiancé and now-husband Mike and I were looking for a month-of coordinator to help us with our December 15, 2016 wedding at The Green Building, as we both work multiple jobs and have never planned a wedding before! Lauren was highly recommended by our friend, and we are SO LUCKY we hired her! [TGT] was one of the best purchases we made for our wedding. The month of coordination was key for us, as our venue did not provide any planning of the vendors. We ended up having +10 vendors and Lauren and Justine worked with them seamlessly. Justine was our on site coordinator and she was phenomenal. My husband even said, “I’ve been in a lot of weddings, and I’ve never had a coordinator go above and beyond and communicate this well with everyone involved!” I’d hire [The Get Together] again in a heartbeat, and could not possibly rave about them enough. Lauren is a thorough, meticulous, yet friendly wedding coordinator. She made the weeks leading up to the wedding less stressful. The day itself, seamless. She: 1) Went on a site visit with us, obtaining the decor, catering and floor plans from the venue; 2) Coordinated between all the different vendors, flawlessly; 3) Spoke with us throughout the process about our vision and how to coordinate that; 4) Made 6-star logistics and planning memos and then sent them in advance to the relevant friends and family, with each person’s role individualized; 5) Sent us emails each week with discrete tasks, simplifying the wedding process, but not in a heavy-handed way; 6) She ran the wedding rehearsal the day before; AND 5) Managed the actual wedding day, making it seamless and stress-free. Note: Lauren is very friendly and approachable. Other people who are as detail-oriented can be stuffy, or worse. We could not recommend Lauren enough.

Lauren helped us put on the wedding of our dreams! We truly could not have done it without her. She was amazing to work with and so supportive through the entire process. After our first meeting with her, with the wedding a month out, we felt such a huge weight lifted off our shoulders. Words cannot express how much Lauren and Justine helped to make our day so special. Hiring Lauren as our wedding coordinator was literally THE BEST wedding decision we made (besides marrying each other). She went above and beyond in her communication with every single one of our vendors, was incredibly organized and on top of her game, and somehow miraculously handled every little detail, flaw, and hiccup with poise AND attention to detail. Our entire bridal party was raving about her, and our guests are still commenting about how seamless the entire event was (Thanks to Lauren!). Lauren is an absolute dream, a miracle worker, a wedding wonder woman, and also a whole lot of fun to spend time with. When I started planning my wedding on my own I kept thinking "I got this" until little logistical details started keeping me up all night as I got closer and closer to the wedding. Hiring Lauren was the best thing my husband and I could have done to make our wedding even more perfect. Lauren is organized, thoughtful, kind, and always went the extra mile to make things easier for us and put our worries to rest. Every single person in our wedding party commented on how much they loved her and couldn't believe we had found someone so amazing to run the show. Lauren is detail-oriented, thoughtful, and innovative. She is a logistical mastermind and gave consideration to every tiny detail of our wedding. As the first person in my friend group to get married-- I didn't have a lot of reference points for how a wedding operates, but Lauren was so easy to talk to and always understood exactly what I was trying to say during our conversations. I trusted her completely and appreciated every piece of advice or suggestion she put forward. She was such a joy to work with, lovely to talk with during our Skype meetings, and made our wedding even more enjoyable. I'd recommend her to absolutely anyone!

In the month leading up to our wedding, I found myself saying maybe once a day “what in the world would we have done without Lauren”?? I was one of those brides who was convinced I’d be able to execute everything without any help, since our venue and vendors were all pretty straight forward. But as the day approached, I realized there were SO many small details and logistics that I just couldn’t manage! Our decision to hire Lauren was the best one we made. She took over everything in the last month, from planning day-of logistics and final payments with vendors, to figuring out the dance set timing with our band, to making sure I didn’t forget to pack anything. On the actual day of my wedding, I was blissfully unaware of all the last-minute happenings going on, and was just able to sit back and enjoy the day. My mom, who was very involved with the planning, was singing her praises all day as well. Don’t think twice – hire Lauren!

Hiring [TGT] was the BEST decision!!! I could not be more pleased with Lauren S and Lauren R and how our intimate Brooklyn wedding turned out. They are PROS and took over the month before our wedding. I thought I had most of the planning done but [TGT] took it to the next level organizing all our vendor contracts and confirming all the nitty-gritty details around decor, timing, logistics. We had the TIME OF OUR LIVES at our wedding and were able to relax and be fully present knowing [TGT] was running the show. Treat yo self and hire [TGT]. You won’t regret it!!!!

What can we say about Lauren. This lady has the disposition of a camp counselor, the organization of a librarian, and the excellence and rigor of a drill sergeant. She is unbelievable and our wedding ran without one single hitch because of her. Well, there was one hitch, when my dearly beloved got chocolate sauce all over my dress (thankfully a second "after party" dress, but still), at which point Lauren showed up to the bathroom with numerous tools in hand to remove the stain in the bathroom sink, while I stood naked in the corner. If that isn't the sign of truly dedicated coordinator who goes the extra mile, I'm just not sure what is. Lauren came in at the one month mark and took a ton off our plate. Delegation and trust are not my personal strong suits, but Lauren had such confidence, organization and expertise that I found myself really comfortable allowing her to take over. I am so glad I did, because she did a better job than I ever could have. She thought of details that would have never occurred to us, but which would've profoundly impacted the flow of our day and the experience for us and our guests. She was in touch numerous times per week leading up to the wedding with updates and key logistical questions to ensure a seamless event. During our wedding, she executed my vision perfectly, with included a lot of small DIY details that I wasn't available to pull together during the event. I really can't say enough about Lauren, both professionally and personally. She seamlessly corrals challenging family members and other vendors with her positive attitude and a well timed joke. Also, as a pretty nervous bride, I felt incredibly comforted to know that Lauren was always nearby with a thumbs up and a wink ("you're doing great sweetie!") Net net, hire lauren!! You will NOT be disappointed.

Lauren and Justine made not only the day of the wedding run without any faults, but also the weeks leading up to it. From the first planning meeting with Lauren, it was evident to me that the wedding was in superbly capable hands. She took over communication with the vendors and confirmed every single moving part of the wedding to create a master schedule, and then check in every step of the way to be sure that everyone was aware of the scheduling and to get live updates on the status of the schedule. Her organization made it simple for us to understand what tasks we had left to do and clearly showed a plan to execute all outstanding items. I wasn't worried about forgetting any details because I knew Lauren had them all handled and would also check all of them with us while adding her experienced suggestions.

On the day of the wedding, Lauren and Justine went beyond my imagination in how proactive, cheerful, helpful, and all around amazing they were.Lauren cued each parent and bridesmaid when to walk down the aisle in the ceremony. Justine communicated with our reception venue and helped set it up while the ceremony was ongoing. At the end of the night, Justine was able to pack up all items and make sure everything we needed to return to us got back to us that evening safely. There was no stress in either getting what we needed to the venue or taking everything back home. Due to Lauren's organization with her pack lists prior to the wedding and Justine's meticulousness, there was nothing in question for us.

Hiring Lauren was our best wedding decision - we can't have imagined our day running so seamlessly without her and her team. Any prospective couples out there should get their dates on Lauren's calendar and rest assured that their day will run perfectly. We had the most magical day, and not once were we concerned about any planning details. Our vendors, bridal party, and guests noted how organized and smooth the event ran, all thanks to [TGT]!

I am serious when I say that hiring Lauren was the best thing I did when planning my wedding. As someone prone to worrying, the closer I got to the wedding the more nervous I became. Because Lauren is a month of coordinator, her services began at just the moment I needed them to! It felt like she was ten steps ahead of me in the best way. She took charge of EVERY vendor communication, checked in with me regularly about how I was feeling, crated my timeline, validated my concerns, brainstormed with me, and ensured that ever last detail I dreamed of came to fruition. Because of this, I did not have to worry on the week of my wedding. I was free to have FUN and soak in all the precious moments. She is a dream, really. And she was SO accessible. She is more organized than I will ever dream of being. And not only that, she has a wonderful personality and was so fun to hang out with on my wedding day. If you are on the fence about having a month of coordinator, DO IT! And you can't beat Lauren. She is the best of the best.

Lauren was a dream wedding planner. From day one she made my fiancee and I feel at ease. She was responsive, calm and fun to work with! We decided to use a month of wedding planner and had a few recommended by friends and the venue. I contacted several and after careful thought and gut instinct decided to use Lauren. She was absolutely the right person for us! We already knew that we would want to select our own vendors but wanted someone who could come in and manage all the moving parts. Not only was she very easy to communicate with, she reviewed the entire event and made suggestions for what she thought were missing pieces. Such as a microphone for the ceremony!!!!!!! Her pleasant demeanor, super efficiency, and enthusiasm she made us feel that an incredibly complicated and expensive event would go off without a hitch, and it did. I cannot say enough about Lauren! I hired Lauren two months before my wedding and to this day am convinced it was the best decision that I have ever made. She was the most reliable person I have ever worked with! Lauren took note of everything that I communicated to her, be it in person, over the phone or over email. She helped to execute on my vision not only my wedding day, but the day before with a Welcome Party we had planned and the day after with a Farewell Brunch. Lauren was organized, positive, kind and had the best attitude, all while juggling a million things my wedding weekend. She always had the warmest smile and was able to effectively manage a wedding party of over 20 people. She is talented and incredibly diligent, and I cannot say enough about her experience. Having Lauren there my wedding weekend allowed me to spend time with my fiance, guests and family and not worry about the little stuff. Lauren was an absolute God-send! Upon first impression we knew we would get along with her. She was so sweet, funny, energetic and personable. We don’t know what we would have done without her expertise during the busiest month of our lives. My husband and I are very organized people but Lauren took organization to another level. I loved designing and planning every detail of my wedding, but I knew I needed someone to execute my plans and address any mishaps that might arise. That is exactly what Lauren did! From our very first meeting, she immediately demonstrated that she could take all my plans and execute them exactly how I pictured. She went above-and-beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. From typing up changes to the ceremony script at 1AM the night before the wedding to swooping in with Goldfish crackers to calm a fussy flower girl-- she had it all under control. LAUREN SCHAEFER IS THE CONSUMMATE PROFESSIONAL! This review (by the MoB) is long overdue, but I wanted to share my gratitude for ALL that Lauren did to make Kathleen and Michael’s wedding magical -- mid-size wedding and reception (130 guests) on a Thursday evening at The Green Building in Brooklyn. Chef Rossi & Raging Skillet did the catering, Quyn Duong was the photographer -- all fantastic! Kathleen and Michael are actors with day jobs, and we live in Atlanta, so we knew that we’d need help with logistics. Lauren worked with us to get everything arranged, giving good advice but always respecting – even anticipating – what Kathleen and Michael wanted. Then the night of her wedding, Kathleen ended up going onstage as an understudy for Zoe Kazan in the Roundabout Theater production of “Love, Love, Love.” The heroine of the behind the scenes story is LAUREN. She contacted The Green Building, the caterers, the photographers and all the guests to keep them updated on this crazy development, arranged to extend the reception for an extra hour to enable the newlyweds to return to their reception after the show and enjoy all the traditional activities like cutting the cake, toasts, dances. Wedding day - Lauren arranged for guests to be greeted with a glass of champagne or sparkling water as they arrived so that they could mingle with the bride and groom (who opted NOT to stay hidden away before the ceremony). Afterwards the (beautiful!) ceremony, Lauren choreographed a send-off line as the newlyweds headed off to the theater district, kept the flow of the evening going smoothly – drinks, passed hors d’oeuvres, and food stations, music and dancing – and cued the DJ when at 10:30 Kathleen and Michael returned. Lauren’s attention to detail, her warmth and calm, her ability to keep everything on track were amazing. I recommend her enthusiastically and without reservation!

Fate connected us with [The Get Together Events Co.] just six short weeks before our wedding - just at the point where my fiancé and I thought ‘how are we going to pull this off ourselves without a superhero to help us on our big day? And then I received an email introducing me to Lauren. Phew! Working with Lauren was hands down the best decision we made about our wedding. She helped us think through every detail and executed the day flawlessly. It was so easy to communicate with her the month leading up to our wedding as she asked questions to help fill in any holes that we had overlooked in our own planning process. Our wedding took place in a raw venue and we handmade everything except for the food (including constructing a light curtain). Lauren kept the setup with our family and friends lighthearted and moving along and she worked seamlessly with our vendors. Hiring Lauren was the best money we spent on our wedding. My husband and I have been singing her praises ever since—let me explain why. First, for the month leading up to our wedding, Lauren was the primary contact for *all* of our vendors (and even for our relatively simple wedding, we had a lot of vendors). Instead of emailing and calling back and forth with caterers and musicians and florists, we just told Lauren what we wanted from each of them, and she made it happen. Second, Lauren spent the full month leading up to our wedding helping us create a detailed, play-by-play outline of the wedding. Any time we had a question, she either knew the answer or knew where we could find it. Lauren kept all the details straight, and by the day of the wedding, she knew the plan cold—probably better than either of us—and she ran the wedding just how we envisioned. Third, Lauren works really, really hard. Our venue opened at 8AM the day of our wedding, and Lauren and her assistant Justine were there at 8AM, if not a bit earlier. When the festivities ended 13 hours later, Lauren and Justine were still going. They handled the bulk of the set up and a bunch of the clean up, and were probably the last ones to leave the venue (we were long gone by that point). Last, Lauren is so easy and pleasant to work with. She was super positive and encouraging throughout the whole process. You want a coordinator who can take charge and be assertive, but who your vendors and your bridal party and your friends / family will enjoy interacting with—that’s definitely Lauren. And one final point, Lauren was an amazing value. For all the time and expertise she put into our wedding, she would’ve been a bargain at several times the price. In conclusions: five stars. You should hire Lauren now before she gets booked.

Lauren is an amazing "month-of" wedding planner! She took my daughter's dreams, planning and prep work and turned it into a reality. She managed all the plans and allowed us to just enjoy the day. As mother of the bride, I can't say enough about how on top of all the details she was and how gracious and kind she was as she took care of the wedding party, our family and friends and made the whole day run smoothly.

Lauren was the best money we spent on our wedding. Period. By a long shot. Initially, we were against the idea of hiring a wedding coordinator. We felt that we could handle it all on our own. That’s the way our parents did it, so why couldn’t we? But as our plans for our wedding expanded, we grew open to exploring the idea, so we spoke with a few coordinators. Lauren was one of four that we interviewed. While most of the coordinators were nice and seemed competent enough, Lauren gelled with us instantly. Her humor, professionalism, and enthusiasm immediately put us at ease. She got what we were trying to do with our offbeat dinosaur theme, and she shared our vision. She also had an immediate level of organization that, even in that first phone call, began to alleviate some of the stress that had begun to weigh on us. One of the things she offered that we really liked was a comprehensive and personal packing “prep” list and schedule for our wedding. Everything and everyone was accounted for, and all responsibilities were laid out and clear before our wedding began. That made us feel so at ease. On the day of the wedding, Lauren knew where everyone and everything went, she knew everyone’s name, and she was ready to troubleshoot any problem that might arise. And as they do at weddings, problems did arise. One of our vendors failed us in a significant way on our wedding day, and thanks to Lauren, we had no idea there was ever an issue. Lauren took care of it discreetly and professionally, and we were (gratefully) none the wiser. One of the many things we love about Lauren is how well she worked with all our vendors, issues or not. Our site manager absolutely fell in love with her, and they worked really well together. And Lauren recommended to us a DJ who could not have been more attentive, thoughtful, and perfect. (Thanks, DJ Brent Fierro!) We had a lot of ideas for our wedding. Lauren helped us sort through them and figure out what was actually important to us, and what was just an unnecessary stress. She was encouraging and positive. And as the production level for our weekend grew and grew (and boy, did it grow!), Lauren took it all in stride and helped us figure out how best to bring all the pieces together. At the end of the night, as we were all piled onto a bus headed back to the hotel, Lauren hopped on and snapped a picture of the whole group. We hadn’t even noticed that our photographer was done for the evening, but Lauren had, so she jumped into action and snapped the last photo to be taken at our wedding She didn’t need to do that, we didn’t ask her to, but that’s just who Lauren is. She sees a need, and she fixes it. And we are so, so grateful! Throughout the entire process, Lauren was a source of enthusiasm and relief. We recommend her to anyone thinking about throwing a wedding, big or small. Months later, like us, you won’t be able to imagine your wedding without her.

Lauren was amazing from the very first time I spoke with her on the phone. I had a crazy idea that I could plan a wedding, take my qualifying exams for my PhD, and move across the country within 8 months, all while having to leave the country for 15 weeks for work. She laughed, said not a problem and took it all in stride: the wedding was flawless!! She eased my anxiety right away with her super organized yet easy-going attitude. She was always available for my last minute panicked text messages about seating, schedules, or wedding etiquette. Her day of schedule was fantastic, and everyone loved knowing exactly where to be and when. She was never pushy, she calmly and competently guided everyone through the day, even going so far as to do an extra practice walk down the aisle for the flower girls! She was truly wonderful, and I would highly recommend her for your wedding, it will be money well spent, and you will actually get to enjoy your day!!

Lauren Schaefer is, straight-up, good at what she does! Having her take the reigns during the week of my wedding was absolutely luxurious!  She repeatedly proved to be on top of the plans, in close touch with our venue, and established a wonderful rapport with our vendors.  On our wedding day, she was two steps ahead of everyone else--ready with an answer to any question or the right tools for any job.  Her ability to have eyes on all facets of the event was truly extraordinary. She had every detail covered, from making sure both my best girlfriends had tissue packs on their seats during the ceremony to handily managing the thorough load-out of the venue at the end of the night.  She even took the time to text me early in the day to make sure I ate something!  If anything was not going well, you better believe that I had no idea about it as she expertly shielded us for any potential stress. Several members of my family and wedding party commented on how wonderful she was and I could not agree more!  My wedding was a beautiful experience and, in no small part, I owe that to Lauren!

Lauren was just amazing! We do not know how we would have managed everything without her! My husband and I have both commented that of all the wedding expenses, hiring Lauren was the best money we spent for this wedding. We would highly recommend Lauren as an event coordinator!

I have had the distinct privilege of working with Lauren as a friend/colleague, and now I have had the honor of experiencing her work as a client. Lauren is the consummate professional. She consistently is thinking 1,000 steps ahead of you, while meeting you exactly where you are and where you need support in that moment. She breaks down all of those last minute questions and details into small and attainable "bites." This review is a bit late but I am still smiling thinking of our daughter’s beautiful, fun wedding! Lauren is amazing!! She somehow wrangled 19 vendors/friendors, a large wedding party, and bus loads of out of town guests to create my daughter and her fiance’s Best Day Ever. Throughout their rehearsal and their big day Lauren was smiling, pleasant and in control of every little detail. She was a joy to be around and made everyone feel at ease. Her planning skills and attention to every single detail is exactly what you hope for in a wedding planner. As the mother-of-the-bride I was able to relax and enjoy every moment of the weekend. The wedding party all enjoyed Lauren’s fun spirit at the rehearsal. She was able to keep everyone on time and focused and still made sure we had fun.

Lauren’s assistant, Justine, was delightful, too. She has a talent for decor. Together Lauren and Justine transformed a grand empty room into the exact vision my daughter and her fiance had wanted for their reception. It was beautiful. Lauren was the BEST wedding coordinator ever! She was highly organized, super detail oriented, and so approachable. From the first phone call I had with Lauren, I knew right away she was the person that I wanted to work with on our wedding. Even before the call, she already went to our wedding website to get to know more about us. Lauren is a "month-of" wedding coordinator; however, she was available for us even months before our wedding. We asked for a wide variety of recommendations, and she was always able to provide a list or research for us to provide the best possible answers (on the rare occasion that she was unfamiliar with the topics). I especially loved how efficient she was with responding to her emails. Her response rate was typically well under 24 hours! Lauren also did a site visit with me and made many great suggestions on the layout of the venue. We eventually went with all her ideas, and they were perfect! I had a stressful moment with our caterer's site visit; however, as soon as Lauren was on board, she swept in and handled all vendor interactions effortlessly. She was very comfortable and confident being the person in charge. My husband and I met Lauren in person in NYC about 6 weeks before the wedding to go over the logistics of the wedding weekend (just because we just happened to be visiting for other reasons). I am so glad we visited and saw her energy and passion for her work, and we were absolutely certain that she was the person who would manage our big day. At the rehearsal dinner, we all met up at the venue, and she was able to get through everything in less than 30 minutes. The day-of, she was everything I expected her to be and more. She made that evening perfect in every way. She read the guests well and knew the pace of the event, so she took the liberty to make the evening transition smoothly. I cannot express how much I enjoyed working with Lauren. She had a smile on her face 100% of the time and I never once saw her stressed. You will NOT regret working with her. She is perfect for this industry. We were so lucky to have found her. Lauren, thank you for everything you did for us!
