REAL WEDDING: Phylicia + Brittany at Juniper Green at The Old School Farm, Nashville

Phylicia and Brittany! These two were pure magic.

Married on a cloudy Thursday in Nashville, the skies literally parted for these two to get married and a rainbow came through for their ceremony. As soon as they were pronounced married, a crack of thunder rang out- even the skies were celebrating!

That’s how the whole day was for them- calm, beautiful, with bursts of energy and love that energized the whole evening!

Fused with cultural homage - a mariachi band, a marcha nupcial into the reception pavilion, and homemade cookies from Phylicia’s homestate of New Mexico (made by her mother!) - it was a true celebration of who these two are. Also, more weddings should bring back the Wedding Money Dance!

Not to mention the first dance- truly the best first dance I’ve ever seen- (which comes as no surprise since Phylicia is a professional dancer- but dang- Brittany showed up too!) They did the full replication of the “Time of My Life” dance from Dirty Dancing- including a surprise group dance!

Congratulations Brittany and Phylicia!

And special shout out to our partners at Juniper Green who busted booty with us to wipe down all ceremony chairs so that ceremony could happen outside and we could all witness the rainbow!!
